David has extensive experience in industrial and complex real estate projects. For a decade, he specialized in development and acquisitions for one of Canada’s leading real estate developers before taking the role as president of Astria Properties.

His deep expertise in the space allows him to evaluate projects holistically, with a keen understanding of the opportunities and risks that each presents. David’s main focus at Astria is on strategic growth of the organization and oversight of the company’s day-to-day operations.

In his spare time, David can be found roaming the trails of north Vancouver with his wife Jocelyn and their dog Millie, staying true to his German background frequenting the breweries, or working on his golf game.

Through the development and growth of Orion Construction, Josh is one of the more experienced design-build contractors in the lower mainland of BC. He has an intimate knowledge of each of the projects that come through the door at Orion and understands the unique challenges of building light industrial and commercial projects in our local market.

Josh can leverage this experience and the tailored design approach to the projects at Astria Properties. Using his strength in efficient and effective design practices to provide innovative project solutions to commercial projects, Astria is able to be competitive on boutique development options in the local region.

Jack’s versatile skillset, built from a wealth of experience in diverse development project types, and his background in urban and environmental planning enable him to understand complex challenges from multiple perspectives and devise innovative solutions.

At Astria, Jack holds key responsibilities such as evaluating new acquisition opportunities, setting project strategies, and overseeing the development pipeline. He fosters strong partnerships with clients, industry experts, municipal staff, and consultants through his collaborative approach, resulting in successful outcomes.

Outside the office, Jack enjoys exploring BC’s mountains, speeding downhill in winter, and backcountry hiking in other seasons. He also enjoys traveling and visiting friends and family in his home country of Australia.

With experience as an Acquisitions & Development Analyst and Financial Analyst, Nick has honed his skills in evaluating growth prospects and managing projects while refining his financial expertise and strategic insights.

Alongside market research, Nick’s key responsibilities at Astria involve strategically analyzing growth prospects, underwriting acquisitions, and sourcing fresh opportunities. He masterfully manages projects day-to-day, crafting vital documents, marketing content, and sales packages. Nick’s coordination prowess shines while collaborating with consultants, driving seamless development progress.

Outside the office, Nick enjoys golfing, skiing, cooking and catching up on podcasts.
